Corn Holds Near One-Month High on Planned US, China Talks
Corn held near a one-month high as a top Chinese government negotiator heads to the US, raising the specter of increased demand for American crops should the trade talks prove successful.
China’s Vice Commerce Minister, Li Chenggang, will travel to Washington to meet with US officials and business people for several days later this week, according to a person familiar with the matter. The trip isn’t part of a formal negotiating session, a spokesperson for the US government told Bloomberg.
