Chicago wheat futures rose for a second session as farmers hold back sales, constraining near-term availability of the grain.

Prices sank to a five-year low earlier this month as harvests progressed across major Northern Hemisphere exporters. While winter crops there are now largely collected, bolstering supplies, the slump in prices means some growers are holding back grain in hopes of better returns later.
