China’s 30-Year Yields Rise to Four-Month High on Trade Optimism

China’s 30-year bond yields rose to the highest since April as President Donald Trump’s extension of a tariff truce with China spurred hopes of better trade ties between the world’s two largest economies.

Yields on 30-year bonds rose one basis point to 2.01%, the highest since April 1. On the other hand the Shanghai Composite Index is close to its highest level since 2021 in a sign investors are shunning haven assets for riskier investments on hopes better trade relations will help improve China’s economy.
