Kosovo Premier Faces First Protest as Deadlock Blocks Wages

Employees of Kosovo’s public broadcaster took to the streets on Wednesday, protesting against the months-long parliamentary deadlock that has left them in a financial limbo.

It was the first protest against Prime Minister Albin Kurti since he won elections in February. But his failure to muster a majority in parliament has put the Balkan nation in deadlock as lawmakers have failed 54 times to elect a speaker.
