Lithuania called on its NATO allies to immediately help enhance its air defense capabilities, after two Russian military drones crossed into its airspace in less than a month.

The Baltic nation’s foreign and defense ministers sent a letter to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Tuesday urging the alliance to quickly implement a rotational model which requires members to take turns sending air defense systems.
