Schroders Writes Off Stake in US Real Estate Lender A10 Capital

Nearly one third of the transactions A10 has helped fund were for offices, according to its website.

Schroders Plc has written off its stake in US commercial real estate lender A10 Capital, according to a person familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified discussing non-public information.

The British money manager took a 20% stake in Idaho-based A10 in 2018, while US private equity firm Gemspring Capital acquired a controlling interestBloomberg Terminal. Other backers of A10 include buyout firm H.I.G. Capital and BlackRock Inc., the world’s largest asset manager. A spokesperson for Schroders declined to comment.
