Octagon to Hire Ex-Morgan Stanley Head for Private Credit Push

Morgan Stanley’s head of direct lending origination for its private credit business, Sean Sullivan, has left the firm, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Sullivan is set to join Octagon Credit Investors to build out the firm’s direct lending effort, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private information. He spent the last five years as a managing director at Morgan Stanley, after a similar stint at fellow direct lender Antares Capital.
