Russia Uses Medical Exemption to Evade Sanctions, Lithuania Says

Lithuania accused Russian importers of using medical sanctions exemptions to receive goods for the use of Moscow’s military, its deputy foreign minister said.

The Baltic nation’s customs authority refused the export of 28,854 goods bound for Russia and Belarus last year “under the guise of medical exemption”, Gabija Grigaite-Daugirde told Bloomberg News.
