Italy Can Achieve or Even Beat GDP Goal for 2025, Giorgetti Says

Italy faces a tricky global backdrop but is still well positioned to achieve its economic growth target for this year if not even to beat it, according to the country’s finance minister.

Speaking at an event in Roime, Giancarlo Giorgetti reiterated that the euro zone’s third-biggest member can meet the goal of a 0.6% increase in gross domestic product in 2025 — an outlook ratified earlier by the parliamentary budget office.
