Credit Suisse Execs Slammed in Private Swiss Greensill Probe
Former Credit Suisse executives were accused of misleading the bank and the regulator in a previously undisclosed report by Switzerland’s financial watchdog into the collapse of Greensill Capital, court documents showed at a London trial.
Credit Suisse has sued SoftBank Group Corp. in London alleging that a series of transactions with Greensill lost investors in funds it ran a total of $440 million. Lawyers for SoftBank said they have obtained a copy of the Finma report and disclosed selective parts of it at the trial to boost its defense.
