Polish Far-Right Kingmaker Sets Terms for Backing Candidates

Poland’s far-right leader Slawomir Mentzen has set out his conditions for endorsing one of the two candidates in a presidential election runoff on June 1 that include ruling out Ukraine’s membership in NATO.

Slawomir Mentzen, who came third in the first round of the vote on Sunday, told reporters he wants the front-runners to meet him for a conversation on his YouTube channel. The leader of the Confederation party presented an eight-point list of conditions they would need to sign before he considers granting his endorsement.
