Stock Futures Jump as US, China Agree to Major Tariff Cuts
Futures on the S&P 500 jumped after the US and China announced significant cuts to tariffs on each others’ products for 90 days.
Contracts tied to the S&P 500 rose 3%, while those tracking the Nasdaq 100 gained 3.8% as of 3:28 a.m. in New York. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index was up roughly 3.3%.
