An opposition party in Kosovo rejected Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s offer to form a coalition government and instead proposed that a transitional administration be formed to break the political deadlock.

Lumir Abdixhiku, who leads Kosovo’s third-biggest party, urged all groupings on Tuesday to form a transitional government. Preparations should also be made for new parliamentary elections that could be held in next year, he told reporters in Pristina.
