Petro Cites ‘Vampires’ After IMF Pauses Colombia Credit Line

The IMF, led by Bulgarian economist Kristalina Georgieva, this month highlighted the greater-than-expected deterioration in Colombia’s public finances. On Saturday it issued a statement saying that the South American nation’s access to the credit line is contingent on completing an ongoing consultation and a subsequent review.
