Europe Must Rapidly Step Up Defense Spending, Lithuania Says

Europe needs to rapidly ramp up defense spending to address Russia’s invasion in Ukraine, said Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Sakaliene.

“We need to spend on defense fast, and a lot, hundreds of billions need to be spent immediately,” Sakaliene said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
